Introduction to the "I AM"
The God of the Old Testament

How is Jesus (Y'shua) the God of the Bible?
(The God of Israel, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob)

Introduction to The Aleph Tav Mark  -  How is Jesus (Y'shua) God?

Y'shua is an abbreviation for several variations the Hebrew name of Jesus: Yeshua, Yahusha, Yahushua, Yahshua

Pray to God to teach you, to make all things clear.

No one can know anything about God unless God's Holy Spirit reveals it to you, so ask God's Holy Spirit to teach you. Seek God and God's Word with all your heart, soul, and mind and you will find him, and the truth will set you free.

1 Corinthians 2:12-14 | Jeremiah 29:13 | John 8:31-32

One God, One Person, One Being - NOT 3 Persons.

Many who study the Bible quickly find a clear contradiction with the classical Catholic Trinity teaching of 3 persons in one God. God explains many times in the Bible that he is one God, one person, one being - not 3 persons. While many Christians are taught the classical Catholic Trinity doctrine, once you study the Bible you easily find the Catholic Trinity is incorrect.  But is there an actual "Biblical Trinity" concept? Yes!  The Old Testament, Jesus (Y'shua), and the Apostles all teach the concept that there is only one true God AND that the Father, the Holy Spirit, and Son (Jesus/Y'shua) are a part of God.
One example in the Old Testament: "For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, MIGHTY GOD, EVERLASTING FATHER, Prince of Peace." – Isaiah 9:6

How Can Jesus (Y'shua) and The Heavenly Father BOTH be the Same Person?

The idea is the Father, Holy Spirit, and Son are 3 PARTS OF GOD (not 3 persons). We have more than one part to us but we are also just one single, individual person or being. When our body dies we still exist. In agreeing with this statement we clearly acknowledge there are at least 2 parts to us - but yet we are just one person, one individual, one being. The Bible describes 3 parts to God and to us.

THE FATHER...is obviously in control and is the true nature of God - that is unseen - not physical.
Jesus (Y'shua) said "... God is a spirit (unseen)" – John 4:24
Jesus (Y'shua) said: “... the Father ... You have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.” – John 5:37

A "WHO DONE IT" Mystery

SO, the Father does not have a physical form and cannot be audibly heard....
... THEN WHO talked with and physically walked in the Garden of Eden with Adam and Eve?  (Genesis 3:8-9)
... THEN WHO physically came down on Mount Sinai and audible/verbally spoke the 10 Commandments to Israel?  (Exodus 19:9)
... THEN WHO talked to with Moses face-to-face in the Tent of Meeting?  (Leviticus 1:1 | Numbers 7:89 | Exodus 33:11 | Exodus 34:34-35)
Hum.... WHO WAS IT? 🙂

God, The Creator

Psalms 33:6 "By the word of the LORD (YHVH) the heavens were made..."
John 1:3 "All things came into being through Him (Jesus/Y'shua)..."
Nehemiah 9:6
"You are the LORD (YHVH), you alone. You have made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them; and you preserve all of them; and the host of heaven worships you."

Jesus (Y'shua) is worshiped in the New Testament. Only the God of Israel is allowed to be worshiped in the Bible. Angels, when worshiped, always correct people not to do that. Alternatively, the Angel of the LORD (YHVH) in the Old Testament speaks as God in the first person saying "I will do this." Many believe this was Jesus (Y'shua).

One Lawgiver, One Savior, One Judge, One King

Isaiah 33:22 "For the LORD (YHVH) is our judge; the LORD (YHVH) is our lawgiver; the LORD (YHVH) is our king; he will save us."
John 5:22-23 "The Father judges no one, but has given all judgment to the Son, that all may honor the Son, just as they honor the Father. ..."
James 4:12 "There is only one lawgiver and judge, he who is able to save and to destroy. ..."
Who do you say that Jesus (Y'shua) is?

How Can God, a Spirit, Have a Body and Physical Form?

People argue that "God is a Spirit" and so he cannot be physical. Cannot God do anything? Do we have any examples of a 'spirit' connecting with the flesh, interacting with a body, or controlling a physical body? YES! MANY!  Both God and us have a spirit.
James 2:26  "For as the body apart from the spirit is dead ..." revealing that without the spirit our body cannot live.
Paul said:
"For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so the thoughts of God no one knows except the Spirit of God." - 1 Corinthians 2:11

Old Testament Prophets were only Prophets of the God of Israel BECAUSE God's Spirit was upon them communicating through them.
Nehemiah 9:30
"Many years you (YHVH) bore with them (Israel) and warned them by your Spirit through your prophets."

Moses said in Numbers 11:29  "Would that all the LORD's (YHVH's) people were prophets, that the LORD (YHVH) would put his Spirit on them!"

The Disciples of Jesus (Y'shua) are "Born Again" of God's Holy Spirit  – John 3:5-7
God's Holy Spirit resides within the moral flesh (bodies) communicating directly with our minds teachings us directly from God himself.

Jesus (Y'shua) said to his disciples that God's Holy Spirit "shall teach you in all things" –  John 14:26
Jesus (Y'shua) also said to his disciples, "It is written in the Prophets, 'And they will all be taught by God.'" John 6:45-46
John said: "... you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as his anointing (God's Holy Spirit) teaches you about everything, and is true, and is no lie—just as it has taught you, abide in him." – 1 John 2:27

Can God create for himself a body and "Fully" inhabit it?

Of course he can. He is God! To say otherwise places limits on the unlimited one true God, creator of the universe.
Did he? He did! (Matthew 1:21-23) His name is Jesus (Y'shua) - Immanuel (which is Hebrew for 'God with us').  Just as God's Holy Spirit was there in the beginning as the universe was being created (Genesis 1:1-3), God's Holy Spirit moved upon the virgin Mary (Luke 1:34-35) and created a baby in her womb and fully inhabited that body.

Paul said: "For all The Fullness of God dwells in The Messiah bodily." – Colossians 2:9
John said: “and the Word was God.” – John 1:1
and “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us… the only Son from the Father…” – John 1:14
Jesus (Y'shua) said: "If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him." and "Whoever has seen me has seen the Father." – John 14:6-9

Jesus (Y'shua) said he is the Alpha Omega, the Beginning and the End – Revelation 1:8; 21:6; 22:13

The Alpha and Omega is the first and last letter in the Greek alphabet, but Jesus (Y'shua) did not speak Greek, he would have said "I am the Aleph Tav" - the first and last letters in Aramaic and Hebrew.
CREATION - Genesis 1:1
"In the beginning God (in the Hebrew 'Elohim Aleph Tav') created the heavens and the earth."
- the Aleph Tav mark of Jesus (Y'shua).

THE 10 COMMANDMENTS - Exodus 20:1
"And God (in the Hebrew 'Elohim Aleph Tav') spoke all these words saying... "
- the Aleph Tav mark of Jesus (Y'shua).

BUT The Trinity is Pagan!!!

Some argue that the Trinity concept comes from pagan gods and therefore, in our righteous zeal to rid ourselves (rightly so) of pagan influences, we must also outright deny the Trinity Doctrine. I say this is also lazy response for those who need to base their decisions upon study of the Bible, not based upon opinions of men. Based purely upon this idea of pagan connections, we would also have to throw out the doctrine of the resurrection, because there are much, much, much more pagan connections to concept of resurrection than to the Trinity. Obviously that is preposterous. Yes it is! Let our source for truth remain in Scripture alone - which means you must study the Bible. When weak, ask God for help. Ask God to teach you, for it is his deepest desire that you know his Word and his Will beyond a shadow-of-a-doubt.

BUT God Cannot Be Known!!!

Some argue that the Trinity or the construction, design, or the order of God just cannot be known. God is just to big to be knowable - some say. In reality, this is a lazy way, an easy out for people who have either lost hope in their pursuit of the knowledge of God, who are discouraged, or who just refuse to study the Bible. GOD CAN BE KNOWN in as much as God specifically chooses to reveal himself in his own Word, the Bible.

Jesus (Y'shua), while looking up to the Heavenly Father, said in John 17:1-3
And this is eternal life, that they might know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.”

God's greatest desire to be known and this gives us encouragement and confidence that he can be clearly understood. (Deuteronomy 30:11-14 | Jeremiah 9:23-24)   WE CAN know God and his Will beyond a shadow-of-a-doubt, so that we can live out his Will in his full power and faith, walking daily in righteousness with boldness and confidence living out the Word of God.

God spoke saying:
"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being My priest. Since you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children."
– Hosea 4:6

The Apostle Paul:
"Beware lest any man rob you [of your faith] by philosophy, or by empty deception, according to the teaching of men and according to the principles of the world and not according to The Messiah, For all The Fullness of God dwells in The Messiah bodily."

Colossians 2:8-9
